Nokia 808 PureView
Nokia 808 PureView is the Nokia's first smartphone to use the PureView technology. This is a technology that combines 41 megapixel sensor, exclusive lens Zeiss Carlz and Nokia's algorithm for oversampling of pixels.
What does it do? This way. If you zoom in standard resolution (2, 3, 5, or 8 megapixels), image quality does not come down. Through a combined 7 pixels into 1 pixel, the camera will display the clearest images. Whereas if you set it in high resolution (up to 38 megapixels), you can perform a zoom setting, reframe, crop, and the size of the image. File size of the image is still compact so it can be sent via e-mail, MMS or social networking.
In addition to the great ability to record images, the Nokia 808 PureView can record and play 1080p HD video and 4x zoom with no loss of quality. Rich Recording Technology allows the audio its recorded with a quality equivalent to CD without the help of an external microphone. While Dolby Headphone technology to make solid voice heard surround sound via headphones.
thanks to PureView technology, Nokia 808 PureView was awarded as the Best Mobile Device at Mobile World Congress 2012 and the Best Imaging Innovation 2012 from the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA). This phone will go on sale starting this May. The first two countries are Russia and India to market it.
